For our Partner - an international company from the United Arab Emirates realising projects in the field of defense systems in aviation - we are looking for:

Structural Designer

.

Location: Poland/remote

.

Purpose: performing engineering duties in designing, constructing and testing aircrafts, as well as conducting research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture.

.

Duties:

  • designing and analyzing repairs and/or modifications (design changes) on aircraft structures;
  • investigating aircraft damage locations and details;
  • interpreting drawings and process specifications from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM);
  • performing static and fatigue analysis for substantiation reports;
  • researching historical repairs and developing standardized repairs for the fleet;
  • assessing technical data for the fleet management, as required;
  • prepare reports, designs and drawings;
  • perform and lead engineering analysis of aero structures;
  • provide consultation and leadership to team members;
  • mentor, coach and motivate the technical team;
  • escalate technical issues to the relevant stake holders;
  • provide technical advice on safe designs and construction;
  • liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers;
  • use computer aided design technology for simulation purposes;
  • undertaking other technical projects as directed by the supervisor;
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor"s degree in engineering;
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in related field;
  • must be an accomplished Structural Designer or equivalent;
  • a Master"s degree, diploma or certification in relevant field will be preferred;
  • ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • ability to multi-task to support the team;
  • problem-solving and analytical skills.
