SAP Business Analyst - FI

.

The SAP FI Business Analyst position utilizes the knowledge of SAP structure and configurations to create and support global SAP environment. The successful candidate will be working in a team environment to recommend, design and deliver software solutions that enables business processes and its users to enhance the productivity and profitability of the company.

Duties:

  • Works closely with business leaders to provide consultancy and support for SAP FI module
  • Interacts with functional users to identify and provide training and improvement opportunities for both users and processes
  • Configures and troubleshoots for SAP FI module. Develops functional specifications and works with technical resources to complete object development
  • Performs functional user assessments to process leads to ensure process and procedures are performed in accordance with work instructions
  • Works with outside consulting firms to support upgrades and project requirements
  • Analyzes and evaluates existing firm business functional and processes related to Finance and Cost Controlling
  • Defines and documents system transactions and processes in support of processes defined in firm’s blueprints
  • Creates and performs unit and integration testing scenarios and troubleshoots problems with the system.

    Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting and tax compliance 
  • Five plus years relevant SAP FI configuration experience 
  • Experience interfacing with various other modules of SAP such as fixed asset management, SD,MM etc.
  • Experience with process documentation and testing 
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in full lifecycle SAP implementations required
  • Experience in international finance
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Good accounting proficiency
  • Sound analytical and problem solving ability
  • In-depth SAP knowledge of the various modules of FI (including Master data management, GL Accounts, banking configurations, vendors, AP and AR processing, credit management, cost estimations of production).
