PROJECT: Human Resource Development Manager

Together with our Partner, the leading global manufacturer of engineered access solutions - we are looking for candidates for the position of Human Resource Development Manager.

Aim of the role:
The aim is to raise the profile of HRD to the level of strategic business partner, supporting the management team, whilst constantly championing company cultural beliefs.

Scope of responsibilities:
- RECRUITMENT: Development of the manpower plan from future and current business requirements, identifying gaps putting in place either recruitment or staff development solutions.
- ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Development of a coherent organizational development strategy defining tactical solutions in terms of the development requirements and goals of current staff and producing the required budget and service standards.
- EMPLOYEE RELATIONS: With consideration of current employee relations and future direction of the company, develops initiatives required to promote ER and to develop staff with the attributes and attitudes that ensure their own health and happiness within the company and provide a human resource that can further the progress of the company. These initiatives may include Employee Involvement, Employee Empowerment, Stress Management and Health and Safety related issues and is likely to impact on reward and benefit initiatives.
- CHANGE MANAGEMENT: With the expansion into Europe and the ever improving quality standards that the company demands, change is a continual process. The HRD Manager must champion a positive attitude towards continual and beneficial change, developing strategies and tactics that produce a workforce that embraces change and contributes towards it. Tactics may include such initiatives such as organizing change events and realigning the reward strategy.
- COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Development of the reward strategy in line with the expertise of the Compensations and Benefits manager and the future direction and requirements of the company.
- LEADERSHIP: The role is expressly involved with the development of the Poland management team ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and attributes necessary to grow the business. This requires operating with due consideration for succession planning, ensuring that future leaders are in continual development. Responsible for the setting and monitoring of goals, coaching and mentoring of the Poland HRD Team.
- POLICY DEVELOPMENT: Ensures all policies and procedures are developed, maintained and adhered to at all times in line with current PL and European employment and health and safety legislation and quality standards.

Requirements:
- Higher education. Degree in appropriate discipline.
- 3 or more years of experience in this position.
- 10 years of total working experience. Preferably within a Manufacturing/Operations environment.
- Experience in SAP or similar.
- Excellent in English speaking and writing.
- Driving license.
- Communication Skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in team management and coordination.
- Organizational Skills.
