SENIOR BUYER

.


Duties:

  • Demand Analysis, proactively identifying purchasing requirements
  • Cost optimization, thorough supplier negotiation
  • Sourcing the most cost-effective supplier of product form our global network of existing vendors or introduction of new suppliers
  • Control of inbound supply - ensuring excellent supplier delivery performance is maintained
  • Maintaining optimum inventory levels through excellent planning to minimize risk
  • Raising Purchase orders in our ERP system to meet specific customer quality requirements
  • Expediting deliveries to customers' needs, and communicating delays to appropriate parties
  • Customs clearance
  • Supporting international branches by managing transfers of goods between sites.

Requirements:

  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strong business relationships
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Strong data analysis ability
  • a hunger for personal development through knowledge, training, and experience
  • a high level of numeracy and accuracy – a good attention to detail
  • Excellent IT Skills – a proficient use of all Microsoft products, especially Excel
  • English fluent
