For our Partner, an international manufactruing company which operates in the aerospace industry we are looking for the candidates for the position of:

GENERAL MANAGER

.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading a plant of 250 collaborators and future deveopment of the unit
  • Accountability of the performances of the plant
  • Providing and supporting the KPI"s of the unit
  • Building the middle term business plan for the plant
  • Development and organization of the teams to reach set goals in quantity, quality and costs
  • Accoutability for hiring new employees, development of careers of key people
  • Developing and expanding a Design Office
  • Reduction of carbon footprint and energy consumption
  • Maintenance and development of contacts with international units of the company and other unit of the Center of Excellence to improve and integrate the best practices
  • Applying robust, consistent, and reliable engineering fundamentals and processes to ensure the highest quality of manufacturing engineering
  • Further development of HSE culture to improve safety at work as well as environmental footprint
  • Representation of the plant to all interested parties

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-8 years of experience as a General Manager of production units
  • Experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing is preferred
  • Ability to operate, make decisions, lead and make forward progress in fast moving environments
  • Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in Lean manufacturing / kaizen events.
  • Green Belt / Black Belt certification is preferred
  • Fluent English
  • Higher education degree
