For our Partner, an international, fast-growing manufacturing company in the metal industry – we are looking for candidates for the position of Health and Safety Coordinator.

.

The goal of this position is to ensure business continuity by obtaining necessary permits, providing guidance, and evaluating actions aimed at risk reduction, with a primary focus on achieving zero accidents.

Job responsibilities:

Compliance with the Regulation on Occupational Health and Safety Services (Dz.U.1997.109.704).

Implementation of guidelines and requirements related to water law, emissions, and waste management permits.

Proposing and implementing actions to improve workplace health and safety and ensure compliance with Polish environmental and fire protection regulations.

Representing the company before regulatory authorities (with authorization to sign documents).

Cooperation with the State Fire Service (PSP) in fire protection supervision.

Implementation of company directives regarding Environment, Safety & Health (ESH).

Management of the Gensuite global program, including reporting key indicators, hazardous observations, and incidents.

Submitting reports, statements, and measurement results to KOBiZE, BDO, WIOŚ, County Office, GUS, and the Marshal's Office as required.

Supervision of the PUESC platform regarding the transport of goods monitored under the SENT system.

Reporting health and safety indicators in accordance with corporate requirements.

Managing and supervising the subcontractor training platform, including an electronic database for high-risk work permits.

Monitoring the use of approved chemical substances and mixtures to ensure compliance with safety data sheets (SDS), REACH, and CLP regulations.

Reviewing and approving personal and technical protective equipment.

Ensuring compliance with ATEX requirements (explosive zones).

Participation in inspection teams for new, modernized, and relocated machinery.

Conducting occupational risk assessments using RISC SCORE, KIM1, KIM2, OWAS, and evaluating risks associated with chemical and biological hazards.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE).

Higher education, preferably in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Protection.

Experience in a manufacturing company.

Good command of English.

Solid knowledge of Polish legal regulations related to the role, with an emphasis on environmental protection.

Familiarity with OSHA standards will be an advantage.

Fire Protection Inspector certification will be a plus.
