At the request of our client –  company in the aerospace industry with an established position in the market – due to its intensive development we are searching for a candidate for the following position:

Finance Operations Director


Main responsibilities

  • Managing Finance Department, acting as a key person to develop short and long term strategy of finance all related departments,
  • Responsible for cash flow and cash planning,
  • Responsible for building efficient and transparent way of cost structure presentation; determines areas of profitability / non-profitability by departments / products,
  • Accountable for forecasting, assessment of the profitability of planned projects & investments development of the price calculation methods & manufacturing costs analysis,
  • Crossfunctional management of company"s financial activities (advisory in business decision making process)
  • Participation in company"s risk management processing
  • Cooperation with EMEA controlling stakeholders to develop and analyse of reported data


Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar,
  • Minimum 10 years of total experience in Finance related positions
  • Preferably 3 years on similar position in a production company,
  • Exposure to international accountancy standards,
  • Significant experience within a commercial environment,
  • Experience in cooperating with third party institutions,
  • Good knowledge of labor and tax law,
  • Business process improvement experience,
  • Good strategic thinking and decision making abilities,
  • Fluency in English required. German would be a plus,
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills,
  • Excellent organizational skills,
