 PROJECT: Chief Accountant

Together with our partner, a large manufacturing company, we invite you to discussions regarding the role of Chief Accountant. 

Aim of the role:

 Ensuring the correct and timely maintenance of accounting books and tax settlements of the company in accordance with the current provisions of accounting and tax law. Supervision over the accounting policy, reliable preparation of financial statements, as well as organization and control of the work of the accounting department.

Scope of responsibilities:

- Preparing monthly financial statements for the entire company;

- Accurate and timely execution of all procedures; 

- Organizing, securing, and maintaining documentation, registries, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures; 

- Forecasting cash flows; 

- Preparing the company's financial statements;

- Monitoring all accounting deadlines required by law; 

- Supporting the Management Board in all matters related to accounting.

Requirements:

- Higher education (University degree);

- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position; 

- Good knowledge of the English language (spoken and written); 

- Fluent knowledge of regulations: the Accounting Act, tax law (CIT, PIT, VAT), labor law, and social security regulations;

- Independent preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements;

- Practical knowledge of ERP class systems (e.g., Comarch ERP XL, Symfonia, Sage, SAP); 

- Knowledge of KSeF (National e-Invoices System); 

- Knowledge of MS Office, particularly advanced Excel; Analytical thinking skills; Ability to interpret financial data.
