Currently, for our Partner, an international company that specializes in chemical component production used in the electronic and motorization industries, we are looking for a candidate for the position of:

Senior Accountant

.

Responsibilities:

  • Verification, accounting and settling of receivables and obligations - CIT, VAt
  • Making accounting reports and presenting their results
  • Analysis of financial information and finance total summary
  • Mistake detection and proposal of solutions to improve efficiency and expenses
  • Ensuring technical support and counseling in regard to management accounting
  • Reviewing and recommending changes in accounting systems and procedures
  • Management of assistants and accountants
  • Involvement in determining financial standards and in prediction process
  • Determining department goals
  • Preparation of financial reports and realization of budget according to an established plan
  • Support in tax inspections and tax returns
  • At a later stage, self-reliant effectuation of tax payoffs
  • Conducting internal and external audits to ensure consistency
  • Planning, assigning and review of personnel work
  • Involvement in the monthly and annual close process - CIT VAT
  • Devising and development of business processes and accounting policy to maintain and strengthen internal control
  • Ensuring consistency with the GAAP rules
  • Cooperation with the Board to improve financial processes
  • Maintaining good communication with the financial department headquarters as well as submitting obligatory forms and reports according to company regulations.

Requirements:

  • Documented experience on the position of Senior Accountant, Accounting Director
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • Higher education (preferred fields of study: accounting, economics, finance)
  • Thorough understanding of commonly accepted accounting rules (GAAP)
  • Awareness of current business trends
  • Ability to make financial reports
  • Experience with the functions of the ledger and the process of monthly and annual close in a manufacturing company
  • Practical experience with accounting software
  • Advanced abilities with MS Excel, including pivot tables
  • Precision and diligence
  • Industry certificates
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP system is welcome
  • Proficiency in English at B2 level.
