For our Partner, a global manufacturing company in the aerospace sector, we are seeking a candidate for the position of:

Operation Production Manager

Place of work: Subcarpathian Voivodeship

.

The primary objective of this role is the comprehensive management of the entire production function, ensuring the execution of the company’s strategic development plans in this area.

The role of a Production Manager with an operational function, focusing on developing growth strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Execution of production plans with a strong emphasis on timeliness and quality compliance to meet customer expectations
  • Oversight of new production launches, ensuring proper planning and execution of customer orders
  • Participation in shaping the company’s production and sales strategy, particularly in expanding into new market segments
  • Supervision of resource efficiency, ensuring the optimal and economical use of raw materials, components, and semi-finished products
  • Approval and coordination of new products and processes, engaging directly with clients during new production launches
  • Organization and leadership of the production department, initiating and implementing actions to enhance manufacturing capacity and efficiency.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of personnel and equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Implementation of optimization, innovation, and investment processes to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensuring effective communication within the team and collaboration with other departments of the company

Requirements:

  • Higher technical education
  • At least five years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company in the mechanical industry, with a strong emphasis on production for the aerospace sector.
  • Experience working in line with Lean Manufacturing i Kaizen methodologies.
  • Extensive leadership experience in managing an entire production division.
  • Ability to make rapid decisions and prioritise effectively in dynamic conditions
  • Knowledge of Green Belt / Black Belt methodologies (certificate preferred)
  • Fluent English and/or fluent French
