For our Partner, a manufacturing company based in Stalowa Wola, we are seeking candidates for the position of:
Purchasing and Planning Manager
.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with other departments to plan and execute the production process
- Close cooperation with the technology and sales department regarding product pricing
- Planning the optimal utilization of human resources and production lines
- Supervising the creation and execution of production plans, as well as analyzing designated KPI indicators
- Implementing innovative solutions in production planning processes
- Managing the team and being responsible for its development and engagement
- Establishing and enforcing purchasing strategies
- Maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers
- Evaluating supplier quality and implementing corrective actions
- Analyzing and assessing the costs of purchased components, identifying the most cost-effective solutions
- Preparing reports and procurement analyses related to the execution of plans and performance objectives

Requirements:
- Higher education in a technical, logistics, or economics-related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a Purchasing and / or Production Planning Department within a manufacturing company
- Very good command of the English language
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to make quick decisions and take proactive actions
- High-level negotiation skills
- Capability to work based on performance indicators and predefined goals
- Experience in managing projects within multidisciplinary teams
- Out-of-the-box thinking and experience in implementing change
- Structured and analytical approach to work
- Openness to understanding production and planning processes
- Willingness to travel for supplier audits
