Currently, for our Partner, an international manufacturing company, in relation to its robust development, we are looking for a candidate for the position of:

Purchasing Manager
.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiation of business terms with suppliers (deals, contracts, agreements, conditions, payments)
- Conducting negotiations with suppliers regarding purchasing costs
- Supervision of costs and purchase realization in regard to the planned budget
- Preparation of batch data (purchase) for inspection, planning budgets
- Management of delivery risks (cooperation in regard to suppliers’ SPEM data rating and SURIM risk analysis)
- Cooperation with Global Traders in regard to Materials and Consumables Strategy
- Supporting the Purchasing Projects in regard to raw materials and consumables costs during the new product implementation phase.
- Support and Management of the Material Traders’ Team, development and further growth of its competence
- Supervision and control over the purchasing process
- Supervision and involvement in SURIM and SPEM processes in regard to purchasing responsibility
- Reporting
- Support of the Purchasing Projects process in regard to responsibility over: costs, material, retail and components
- Support and proactive involvement in Problem-Solving process
- Organization and involvement in business meetings with suppliers
- Responsibility over Tool Rental payments, cooperation with the inspectors and settling the payments with the suppliers
- Management of the subordinate team - organization of work, task, goal and vacation planning

Requirements:
- Higher Education - economics or management, additional technical (engineering) competences are also valuable
- Self-reliance and decisiveness
- High self-discipline and strong attitude set on goal realization
- Thorough analytical skills
- Ability to process substantial amounts of information and data
- Willingness to create relationships and enhance the image of the subordinate areas
- English language proficiency on the level of casual communication in speech and writing
- German language proficiency in a communicative level would be an additional benefit
- High availability and willingness to go on business trips
- Clear leadership and motivational skills
- Ability to propose creative solutions
- Managerial experience in team administration
- Experience on a similar managerial position: 4-6 years
- Experience in working in a substantial international organization as well as open-mindedness to working in multicultural environments
- Experience in the manufacturing industry would be an added benefit
